About the tour
You will float, cycle and sing in famous historical towns and cities with their numerous, well-known places of interest. You’ll be surprised when your guide shows you the small, picturesque towns and the beautiful landscapes in the “Green Heart” of Holland. The Southern tour is the perfect tour to enjoy the variety of landscapes and the various highlights of South Holland. Throughout the tour you will sing in some of Holland’s oldest churches.
The Gandalf
The Gandalf is a comfortable passenger barge with accommodation for 20-22 passengers. It is very well suited for bike & barge holidays in the Netherlands and Belgium. Almost the entire barge is located on the ‘ground’ floor. Mid-ship is a comfortable salon surrounded by large windows. Aboard the barge are 8 twin cabins and two 3-person cabins. All cabins are fitted with en-suites. The spacious deck invites you to linger while watching the Dutch landscape flow past. The friendly and experienced skipper/owner, Hans Petrus and his crew, are delighted to show you the most beautiful sites of the country.
About Rachel Hore
Rachel Hore is a much sought after teacher of choral singing. She has been performing and teaching throughout Australia and internationally for over 20 years, mentoring hundreds of singers in community choirs. A graduate of the NSW Conservatorium of Music, Rachel began her singing career with the highly acclaimed Australian vocal quartet ‘Arramaieda’, who became an important influence on the now flourishing choral scene in Australia.
